FO: Rainbow Socks

Rainbow Socks with Book

oh hello! Long time, no blog. 🙈 Time for a knitting update!

I bought this awesome rainbow striping yarn from my LYS a couple months ago on LYS Day–it’s Havirland Pax Sock in Live + Let Love. I didn’t plan on finishing these during Pride Month, but that’s how it serendipitously worked out!

I kept it pretty basic with stockinette. I’m not 100% in love with the fit because the cuffs always seem too loose when I knit toe-up. I’m sure I need to adjust the way I do my cuffs but I’ve always been too lazy to figure out the math. 😁 I am, however, really happy with the Havirland yarn–it knit up very well and the stripes are so fun. I made the striping sequences match for both socks, which normally I wouldn’t do…but it was pretty easy with this yarn.

Rainbow Socks

Detailed specs: US 1.5 needles, toe-up, magic loop, two at a time with afterthought heels and a 1×1 twisted rib cuff.
